Paul Hogan concluded different and made a mint.
Dropping domestic violence into the discussion in an attempt to score cheap sensitivity points was a cunt move.
Of course unwelcome violence is a serious matter. That's why we have laws prohibiting it and incarcerate those that don't abide. Telling me I can't joke about violence is absurd when entire sports and entertainment industries are built on it.
Here's something else I find amusing. I would have thought that someone as hypersensitively concerned about this matter as you would be citing the significant reduction in violent crime rates over the last four decades. We certainly haven't attained perfection yet, but aren't some congratulations in order while we continue to improve?
Quote:Between 1993 and 2012, the violent crime rate (homicide, robbery, rape and aggravated assault) in the United States dropped by 48 percent. During the same period, the violent crime rate in New York City dropped by 71 percent.http://www.huffingtonpost.com/mike-weiss...60996.html
Of course, talking about these very real facts would take the edge off your fucking crusade wouldn't it?
