No comments? I iz disappoint.
One thing I'd like to talk about is that I really started to dislike the main protagonist early. Estelle, during the flashback, repeatedly jumped on top of an injured boy because he was being rude and yelling. And her father did nothing to stop it. I think it must have been played for laughs, because he really under reacted to it, and Cassius was so nonchalant about it. Someone tried to kill him. He has bandages all over. Yet she's jumping on him because he's yelling.
Then she's a bit of a ditz, and when Oliver comes in and kind of hits on Joshua, she's much more bothered by the fact that he's hitting on a guy than the fact that he's hitting on an underage teenager. Not that she's the only one who thinks bisexuality is a bit weird.
A little into the game she does hurt a younger kid for mouthing off to him, but in time she gets better. When she pulls out her staff after another kid is unimpressed, she shows him a trick instead of hitting him with it. When another kid steals something from her, she tickles him instead of hurting him. I think she becomes less of a ditz over time too. Especially if you make correct dialogue choices.
She just makes a really horrible first impression. Joshua, the other protagonist, is much more sensible. I really like Oliver, in all his flair, because he's colorful and one of the best characters in battle. He's the best offensive spellcaster, I believe, due to his orbment having one long line instead of sections. Sections restrict spells. I really like Zane too. He is the tank to Oliver's nuke, to Joshua's dps, to Estelle's well roundedness.
There are other interesting characters. Kloe makes the best healer, since she has one long line like Oliver, but three of her six slots must be water. Which is big on healing. Tita is great for AoE attacks, but she's a little kid so she's frail. She's a glass cannon who uses a hand cannon. There's Agate, who is pretty tough like Zane, but focuses on offense rather than defense with his skills. Last is Sherezard, who is kind of a dominatrix with a whip, and is a good character but not really one of my favorites in a fight. Character wise she's pretty fun.
