If they can build enough of an international following, perhaps they can resurrect NFL Europe. Most of the other major sports are popular in other parts of the world, but the primary benefit to USA leagues is the larger talent pool. The NFL would love having a professional international league (or leagues) that provide a larger talent pool AND additional profits directly to them. I doubt that they want to expand their own league overseas because it could make for scheduling and travel nightmares. But the thought of an international "Super Superbowl" in 2025 might make NFL executives jizz in their shorts.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
