To be honest, I haven't got much to add to Esquilax's response but here's my tuppence-worth.

So what qualifies you to speak for it (evolution)? Are you a biologist?

I don't have degrees but I'm qualified to A-level (pre-degree level in the UK). Additionally I've made more detailed amateur studies of many aspects of biology including evolution. While that doesn't give me the right to practice biology in the public sphere, as a professional qualification would, it does inform me of many facts and allow me to participate, meaningfully, in public discourse. Given your comments so-far, I'm fairly convinced that you've not done the same. I was simply looking for you to provide some evidence that our conversation will be meaningful.

Furthermore based on your logic, what qualifies you to speak against Christianity, when you are clearly not one? First get to know about the rich Christian theology before making anti-Christian comments.

I used to be a Roman Catholic. I'm also qualified in Comparative Theology to A-level. Trust me, I'm qualified.

By the way, I am still writing up my response to this thread. I got preoccupied on more pressing issues. Will post a response soon.
