The audio recording of the shots tells us nothing about if Brown was charging Wilson or if he stopped charging Wilson before he was fatally shot. It is an interesting curiosity but really adds nothing new.

Even if he did charge. An unarmed man charging an officer equipped with all kinds of toys emptying his magazine instead of using his taser or pepper spray.

The man charging was armed with his fists. You want to make it sound like Brown was incapable of doing bodily harm to Wilson but this is certainly untrue. Second listen to the recording the grand idiot Minimalist provided. Ask yourself if you were the officer....in the time the shots were fired...could you properly holster your weapon and arm yourself with a baton or mace?

Also ask yourself if you were the officer and Brown who is about 30% larger than you...would Brown who already attempted to confiscate your gun once be able to do so if the baton or the mace were ineffective and you were tackled? If you are the officer are you going to take on that risk in a fight or flight moment? I don't think so.

Wilson's testimony is corroborated by witness testimony. There is no way a reasonable jury finds Wilson guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Wilson may be guilty here...but he simply will not be convicted except by a mob who doesn't care(as evidence by their looting) about the rule of law. No prosecutor with half a brain wants to prosecute this case.

Perhaps the reason why the police had an arbitrary "end time" set to the protest "after sundown" was because they feared the looters and rioters would return after dark and mingle in with the protestors. That seems far more likely than buying into the racist conspiracy narrative.

Oh, I see. So all protests are subject to the disperse-by-sundown rule? I assume Tea Bagger protests were also met with armored vehicles, snipers and full riot gear with the orders to disperse by a certain time or be treated as rioters?

BTW, what are your thoughts about Condoleeza Rice, Clarence Thomas, Allen West, and Dr. Ben Carson?

Why is it that in any discussion of race in America, it's inevitable that someone on the right wing will say some variation on "you know, I have black friends"? Do you actually think this argument works on anyone?
