That 7 politicians have praised Ayn Rand I think makes my point more than Ryans. That sounds a lot more like 'a few' than 'an overwhelming majority'
Edit: Also looking at the list, Sanford, Ron and Rand Paul, and Gary Johnson are all more or less Libertarians who run in the Republican Party, also even they temper any praise with criticism. The only one of note is Reagan and that is a quote from 1966, before he was even involved in politics. That Ayn Rand has an influence on the Libertarian Party is beyond question. That she has an influence on the Republican party is spurious at best.
