My practice is to not make claims on the internet that can't be verified on the internet.Lord willing if things keep going the way they are I will be able to bring people here if it will help them. I don't mind sharing anything, I just don't want personal info on the Internet.
Quote:The problem isn't your documentation. The problem is that having the documentation doesn't prove anything. People get better from serious ailments all the time, regardless of their religion or lack thereof. You don't need to prove your anecdotes are true. You need to prove that your anecdotes mean something if they ARE true.what speaks to truth like nothing I can say or do is when these things are playing out in your own life. Again the things I share is what it took for me to establish and maintain a relationship with God, it is supposed to mean very little to anyone else, why? Because God wants to do the same for all of us.
Not to keep beating the same drum, but that is why it is SOOO Important to keep Knocking. God in our trials will wash away our broken understandings of Him and if we keep knocking we will build a correct picture of Him. One that He can support, and then one day your eyes Will Open, and Your ears Will Hear what has been i front of you this whole time.
Quote:It might be helpful to separate empathy from sympathy here. For purposes of the conversation, how about empathy being the ability to understand someone else's point of view, especially emotionally; and sympathy being sharing their feelings: they're sad, so you're sad too, like that.that I will work on.

Possibly because you were equating empathy with being nice?
