Wow, that has to be the dumbest definition of racism I've ever heard, and I've had an argument with someone that thinks that if you feed a black person, you can't be racist. No wonder the U.S.A. can't get it's race relations under control. We're too fucking stupid to even fundamentally understand the issue.
I have actually heard something similar to what simplemoss is saying on another site. I don't agree but the people advocating this view have redefined the word racist in a way that most of us don't use.
If I understand correctly, racism-to them- means that one race wants all the power. In the US, white people have most of the power so therefore, minorities can't be racist but they can be prejudiced.
Most people(myself included) define racism to mean that you believe your race is superior to another.
