Ok I am a responder and benefit from the dialogue. So I am here for me and like the exchange for what it is.
I do and can see the inside of all the major religions and kind of understand them for what they try to do, which is just a bit better than transparent, I would say. It is just philosophy for me and that is why I am here.

It is true that I can mix and match religions, and I am not here to convince anyone.
And yes, Grade 1 Catechism is also different then some later stuff, and I do agree that you can do much with Catholicism as not bound by limits on her own.
And OK then, I am nothing, for all I care and do not know the name of the last 5 or maybe 10 priests that we had. I never go there I really know very little about the surface of Catholicism but understand the underpinnings very well.
Who cares, just read what I have to say and shoot holes in that.
Oops sry, I think that this response does not belong here but I have to go and cannot fix that now.

Catholic doctrine says this about Jesus death: All this He endured willingly for our salvation.
You also ignored the pope quote I posted eralier where he, in one sentence, numerously mentioned the word christianity in connection with Catholic faith. Catholicism is christian, to claim otherwise is taking a page from the evangelist book, who deny the Catholics the status of real christians.
See, what you're doing here? You call yourself Catholic and don't even understand the basics of what that means. Not that I have a real problem with that, since it doesn't matter to me if you believe in Donald Duck. But you're going around, throwing some unrelated bits and pieces around and hope that someone picks up on the garbage.
