I personally think that the award should be retired with Cheney. His lying regarding the Senate's CIA torture report is clearly a reargard action fought to protect criminals, including himself, from rightful prosecution.
Okay, I confess to having skipped ahead without reading these posts, which are spot-on.
That in mind, John Boehner gets my vote. More than half his checked utterances were rated either "mostly false", "false", or "pants on fire" by Politifact.com.
I still think that Cheney is the lyinest, cheatinest, two-fisted greediest, grubbiest piece of skunkbait ever spawned in North America.
