Would it be more or less "worth it" if they had a fair trial -and then- they were tortured? Just drop your fixation and tell me why you think the fairness of their trial is a mitigating or justifying factor!
Now, wasn't part of the Nazis "politics" getting rid of jews - saying it was about politics -includes- getting rid of jews, in the case of the Nazis, eh? It's a distinction that makes no difference.
