What is the point in complaining about marking the time it takes for the earth to revolve around the sun? 365 days is the standard time it takes for the earth to revolve once around the sun.

I agree that 2015 IS an arbitrary number compared to the age of the planet and universe. But that is what we use because that a result of when we started making a calender a standard.

These seems to be pedantic on your part. It would be like saying "Lets not use the metric system or yardsticks because the universe is really big."
