1.8M-year-old skull gives glimpse of our evolution

Quote: DMANISI, Georgia (AP) - The discovery of a 1.8-million-year-old skull of a human ancestor buried under a medieval Georgian village provides a vivid picture of early evolution and indicates our family tree may have fewer branches than some believe, scientists say.

The fossil is the most complete pre-human skull uncovered. With other partial remains previously found at the rural site, it gives researchers the earliest evidence of human ancestors moving out of Africa and spreading north to the rest of the world, according to a study published Thursday in the journal Science.

Let the creatards shriek.

It's always interesting to watch the exchanges with people who support creationism, and how they waffle around EVIDENCE, still clinging to creationism. Undecided

Saw this in the Guardian. Apparently its not a skull but 5 of them and the variation between them is greater than had been expected of a single species (although in line with human variation).

This is the reason they are starting to think that some of the off-shoots may actually all be a single species.

I said it before but I'll say it again: You could show up with the bona fide corpse of Jesus Christ strapped to your back complete with a notarized certificate of death from a documented Roman official and it wouldn't matter one god damn bit to the christards. They're going to believe their bull shit ascension story and all the rest of their holy horse shit no matter what rock solid evidence you could possibly present them.

They're gullible half-wits. They get their knowledge from pulpit-banging mentally deficient retards who glean their information from a a bunch of dead primitives who couldn't tell you what gingivitis was, let alone that they were walking around on a sphere among trillions of galaxies whos starlight was already millions of years old by the time they laid their eyes on it.

Creationist logic: the dating method is wrong... these bones are only ~4~5 thousand years old.
