Islam allowed allegiance with those very people who did fight them...it made treaties and told them not to fight them as long as they stay true to their treaties.

Also this was specifically to the Muslims, telling the Muslims whoever befriends them after facing all this injustice from them is unjust. How does that translate to fighting all allies and friends of those who fight them?

They have nothing to do with each other.
It's saying, or you're saying? Regardless, this is as fine a pretext to war as any ever conceived - even with all of your modifications. You don't buy it (and neither do I), but our personal approval isn't required in order for something to be a workable pretext. We've done worse over less. You've approached this excerpt from a position of having already decided what you want it to say, and what you don't want it to say, clearly. I managed to spot an easy way to drum your buddies to war - just as many others have done. Personally, I don't see this as a problem for the Quran or for Islam, why wouldn't it contain the necessary ingredients for pretext? It -is- however, a problem for the claim implicit in your thread.

Describing all of the ways that others are unjust - going so far as to call someone unjust by association with the unjust...isn't exactly a recipe for peace. We (the US) recently invaded two countries on precisely this form of pretext - how do you feel about that?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
