This is going to be a long shot, but you can openly repudiate the idea of magical superstitions being the bedrock of a person's life.
What you don't seem to get about religion is for most it is not the idea of magic or superstition. Religion and religious worship is a practice in methodology, for the express purpose of some worldly/religious based reward. Meaning most people align themselves with religion so as to be in the social rewards program a given religion boasts.

Not likely.
These extremists don't really give a shit about drawings. They want a war. This is just a convenient excuse to try and have one. They want more cartoons and they want more mockery. It just gives them validation (in their eyes) that their holy war is just, that they are justified in killing people who mock their religion.
These extremists want the western world to hate them. The kind of response you're talking about is the best thing they can hope for.
Which should further drive a wedge between moderate and extreme muslims.

You won't acknowledge the "je suis" support campaign, but you want a suitable Charlie Hebdo cartoon to use?
Why am I even surprised?
Je suis Spartacus?
If this is how French people want to thart Terrorism let them have their facebook and Twitter campaign.
I simply want to freely express my own views.
