New Charlie Hebdo cover - what does it mean?
Here it is folks!

Yeah, I'm now targeted by every fundamentalist in the world and vicinity.

Anyway, what can this cover mean?

Sometimes, I think I'm grasping it and then it escapes...
It's Mo, saying he's Charlie... it's like if Mo himself does not condone the course of action undertaken by the terrorists... not just these, but all the others that have been trying to stamp out all form of satire of their beloved Mo...

He's also crying which seems to hint at the sadness that the staff of the paper is feeling right now.

The "all is forgiven" part I don't understand... unless, the guys who did the despicable act are dead, too. It is over. (?)

I immediately thought that a sad Mo himself is showing solidarity with CH, and that CH forgive him for what has been done in his name.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

I figure there is dog semen in Mohammad's butt there too, but it didn't register in the cover picture very well . . .

Whatever else it might mean, it certainly shows that the shooters' goals have utterly backfired. Instead of silencing cartoonists and regular citizens from mocking the prophet, there are now more satricial, critical, and downright pornographic representations of Mohammed floating around than I've ever seen in my life, and the newest issue of Charlie Hebdo is printing (if I recall correctly) somewhere around 3,000,000 copies.
In every country and every age, the priest had been hostile to Liberty.

I still maintain that the shooters' goal was to instigate an armed conflict between muslims and non-muslims, not to suppress the cartoonists in the short term. They have only lost if the mainstream muslims now clearly side with the cartoonists, as they do at least partly.

Yeah, but that's not because of solidarity or sympathy but for the public execution effect. People like to watch a tragedy unfold and to collect the memorabilia.
