True story, but while every race can be racist, I'm not particularly worried about racist statements about whites because I know they'll never impact politics, in fact, there's no political party that has, as an ideology, to kick out everyone who isn't white (at least a party that has minimal credit)... Usually racism is a reference to discrimination against people of colour because they are the minority in the west (for now) and it's far more common; everyone can be racist, anyone, but not all racist behaviour impacts social institutions equally.

I'm addressing this on a personal, and not a social, level. I'm tired of being assumed to be a racist because I have white skin. The question may have been a joke, cool ... but Gawdzilla's point stands nonetheless, despite appeals to social impact, etc. Racist is racist -- even in jokes.

Yes but not all racism is equally harmful. Curiously, there are not many jokes about whites that portray negative stereotypes, such as higher than average criminal activity - Most jokes about whites are about "white people problems". I don't think many people actually believe only whites can be racist, shit just look at the yamato Japanese (the natives), they are a perfect example of asian racism against other non-asian non-yamato ethnicities; it's just that in the western world racism against whites doesn't impact personal, social, economical and ethical perceptions about others as often as racism against people of colour

Also, your argument that you're tired to be wrongly assumed racist applies to your personal life, but not everyone else's, I'm not assumed to be racist because I'm white - In fact I'm tired of hearing my white relatives saying that "blacks are more racist than whites" without providing evidence (Hint - That catchphrase is meant to subliminally justify racism against blacks)
