I heard about an English judge voting against a gay couple adopting a kid because he was christian and it was against his beliefs. Thankfully he was ripped to pieces like the sack of shit he is for pulling a stunt like that, and the couple won out anyway.

But on a sort of related note, my wife told me that on the news a study had found that children raised by a man/woman generally "flourished more" (whatever that means) than those raised by same sex couples. This surprised me, I thought there was no difference. Does anyone have reliable info on this?
