Condiment? That's not accurate. Seasoning is the proper word. Back in Lots time condiment only referred to compound foods, like ketchup. Its only in modern times that the word condiment began to be applied to seasonings as well as compound foods applied by the diner.
I wonder if Lot lobed off one of his wife's ears to flavor his soup?
