I would guess that (barring mass extinction from religious extremists nuking the whole goddamn planet) by that time we'll have already expanded out into the universe. I hope that is the case. I have a vested interest in my uploaded consciousness surviving even after the planet's destruction.

I think we'll have self-directed our own evolution in no more than a few hundred years. We'll be immortal and optimized for survival in space. That's assuming we materialists have the correct view of the universe and consciousness can be uploaded to a computer of other synthetic brain.
