What racists define as race has no scientific merit, it is simply bigotry.

Jews aren't a race, they aren't even a clear genetic ethnicity. They are a cultural ethnicity. Who determines who is or is not Jewish?

No, and I could post 20 pictures of asians from different countries and you would not be able to tell who is Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Mongolian, etc... But if I showed the picture to a native asian he/she would probably be able to tell so.

The fact there is no scientific merit is irrelevant because groups of bigots continue to push their agendas, the same way the lack of evidence doesn't stop religious people from pursuing their world dream.

Jews aren't a race the same way whites aren't a race. Race is cultural, it is a group of features we identify people with. I wouldn't be able to identify who's Jewish, but then again sometimes I am not able to identify who's white or who's black if there's mixed ancestry.

I am not saying hiding behind race is valid to refute Judaism critiques. I am saying that race shouldn't be ignored because racist people still exist, and they aren't a very tiny minority.

There is no race biologically, but there is race culturally and socially. Race exists as a social construct. Denying race is the same thing as denying culture. It exists despite not being a biological concept.

To answer your question - I'm not a specialist, but Jewish people usually say that everyone who has Jewish ancestry in the family is culturally and ethnically at least partly Jewish. Just like some people with minor African ancestry identify as black instead of white
