The country has war fatigue, so Obama's going to need all the help he can get from surrounding region. Standing up and saying, "Fuck Islam and fuck Muhammed" would leave us with only Israel as an ally in the Middle East and would also give Isis a nice, juicy recruiting tool. The key right now is to minimize Isis' power. which is dependent entirely upon their ability to recruit, and the American president, who is the embodiment of all that Isis and other Muslims detest, getting up and criticizing Islam would send young Muslims in droves to fight against the West. We'd practically be supplying them with an army.
