You really just don't get it.
It's not that ideas on their own aren't entertaining enough. Just like SteelCurtain said, fish and chips on its own is great. But what's wrong with wanting flavour every now and then? Sometimes I want some vinegar, sometimes I want mayonnaise, sometimes I want ketchup.
Having fish and chips plain every single time would eventually get boring wouldn't it? At least for me it would. I mean, it's fine if you like fish and chips plain. But don't chastise me for liking some sauce every now and then on the side.
Your problem is that you think I need the sauce to have a good time. Far from it, I just think it makes it more interesting with it. Yes I can read books without pictures but this place isn't a library, I don't come here just for that. I come here for entertainment as well as 'ideas'.
Besides, it doesn't really matter. As long as the fish and chips are on the plate, it's still fish and chips. When it's all sauce and no substance, you might have a point, otherwise I just think you're being a boring elitist cunt for the sake of it.
Now I'm hungry.
