Maybe the force doesn't work well on Batman because he has such strong willpower? I'm sure in a universe with the force batman would have a lot of potential, sort of like when Vader was chasing Luke Skywalker in the first movie and was like 'the force is strong with this one' which nullified some of his Vader powers.
Didn't you see revenge of the sith? It where vader wipes out every single jedi except two. One's will power or even their strength in the force is not enought to save one from the mighty lord Vader. It take a full measure of the force and a double dose of bad assness to save one from Vader.
As far as vader being a bad guy... That maybe true, but only from a certain point of view
