I'm pro-gun for those that can safely operate them. I'm also squeamish on affirmative action. As well, I prefer a balanced budget, and that's something Republicans used to be really into. I'm an independent who votes reliably Democrat, but that's mostly because of gay marriage. If that were not an issue, I'd probably have a much easier time voting Republican.
