The political leader should not estimate the worth of a religion by taking some of its shortcomings into account, but he should ask himself whether there be any practical substitute in a view which is demonstrably better. Until such a substitute be available, only fools and criminals would think of abolishing existing religion.

I seriously doubt Hitler based himself on Christianity, but you can provide proof if you wish. There are religious racial supremacists, but I don't think religion is a determinant cause of bigoted ideas.

I don't think it matters if he was Christian or atheist, it matters what he did, he believed in the conspiracy theories about Jews ruling the world and controlling every major historical event; he believed Jews were out to destroy the Aryan race and so forth... I'm not a bible expert, but does the bible contain founding principles of Arianism and racial supremacy?

That is one of the reasons he thought because after WW1 he thought the jews were the reason why Germany's economy was in ruin. And till this day the mark is still suffering the effects of WW1 and WW2.
