(WARNING: Both christianity and islam is fiction! They are not different from zeus, odin or mithra.)
Christianity islam and judaism known as abrahamic religions. Muslims recognize ishmael, the first son of abraham as 'the father of arabs'and Ishac, the second son of abraham as 'the father of jews'. (So they are relatives isn't that ironic?)
And a rumour claims that ishmael is the ancestor of Muhammed. I haven't found any historical evidence to confirm that. Probably muhammed made this up in order to fortify his claim as a prophet.
Relation between islam and christianity is accepted among christians at some level.
a document which chatholical teachings gathered "The Catechism of the Catholic Church" mentions muslims; "Church's reletionship with msulims: Salvation plan includes the ones who has knowledge about the creator. And muslims come head of this. They who clearly declare their beliefs to abraham and believe in the same, one, merciful god and he will judge humanity in judgement day." (this is my translation from a turkish source)
Quran confirms many events and characters which is mentioned in bible. Moreover according to islam bible sent to jesus by allah.
But islam claims that some parts of old testement were either lost or corrupted through time and became today's bible.
Christians too believe that Old Testament is the words of Moses himself(and therefor god's). Furthermore christians
believe that the Book of Psalms is not entirely writen by David. In fact they believe at least one of the psalms written after
500 years after David's birth.
Some events like second coming of masiah and fight between devil is exsist in islam. But not all has same meaning.
Most of the stories in bible is in quran aswell.for example noah's ark, story of abraham, jonah and the big fish
Quran explains the birth of jesus in surah Maryam(19.) click here to read this verses

Quote:Many that live deserve death. Some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them, Frodo? Do not be too eager to deal out death in judgment. Even the very wise cannot see all ends.
