I don't think so, most people associate atheists with left wing liberalism, secularism, tolerance and social liberalism
Well, what people associate something with and the reality of it are often very different.There are plenty of conservatives and libertarians in the atheist community, especially the latter. Sadly, several prominent atheists are libertarians and each has a large following.
