I'd say it's a reasonable conclusion, that people who consider gay sex a "choice" - consider it an option. Meaning - they must feel the need for some hardcore man-on-man, or hot lesbo action, only they consciously suppress it. Maybe they're bisexual, or maybe they just force themselves to have sex with people who they're not attracted to. Maybe they're simply confused about their own gender and sexuality and have to follow specific instructions regarding what to put where...
Personally - I couldn't imagine "choosing" to be gay, therefore I'm inclined to believe, that gay people feel the same about heterosexuality. Which is why they risk ridicule, alienation and violence from militant heterosexuals - by breaking society's sexual stereotypes, instead of conforming to them, which would seem like an obvious choice, if sexuality was a choice.
