What would be the pleasing feature of dribbling blood over a hearth that would be important to a god?
Why don't christians drink jesus' piss in remembrance of him? It could open up white wine sales for the catlicks and Mountain Dew for the baptists!
Blood has been associated with life. (Think about the word "lifeblood.") Urine isn't associated with life. Draining the blood out of a person kills him, thus depriving him of life. Draining the urine out of a person does not kill him, and thus does not deprive him of live. So it isn't random.
Now, I have a question for you. Are you being serious in these questions, or are you just joking around?
No, I'm serious for the first part.. not about the urine ..
No the answers so far are from the human point of view, assuming that god is a creation of man, as I believe as well. but what I'm hoping to see is how an assumed god from a theist's point of view would have any need for animal blood. Why would a supposed "REAL" god want his creations killed?
If I had a huge aquarium with my prize family of Angelfish along with my stock of feeder shrimp, I would not be happy if they started wasting the shrimp and killing it for naught. So why would a god? What is the logic? What would be the logic of the fish spilling the shrimp's entrails in a certain way, why would I care or desire that ritual?
