The blood is the life force according to Jewish tradition, so it is a fascination with life. It's also the reason why it's always been the most banned food in the Bible.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.
