There is no defining it when you say god is omnipotent and is all know and all powerful, god would have obvious paradoxes.
1. Can god create a boulder so heavy that he can't even lift it.
2. omnipotent being is an entity that can be omnipotent for a temporary period of time, and then becomes non-omnipotent. Ergo god isn't omini anything.
3. Is god simple or complex. if god is complex where is his creator. Literally the watch maker argument can be applied here against god when its used on atheists.
Beyond that, God is the ultimate expression of the Watchmaker argument. He must be so fantastically and insanely complex with his ability to create and govern every atom in the universe that he could only have come about through design himself. Ergo, infinite regress.
Events happening through the laws of physics is the ONLY explanation that makes sense, as it does not require a designer, they just simply are. Can we explain everything to do with the cosmos and its origins yet? Of course not. But science has made incredible progress in the short amount of time the doctrinal stranglehold of oppression has been loosened, and to explain away the (current, and ever shrinking) gaps in scientific knowledge as simply 'goddidit' is a grievous betrayal of that progress made by the human mind.
