Killing the Hypothetical

As you've likely already noticed, the question for the poll is:
Could you kill someone with a firearm?  

My answer, which is not included in your poll: How would I know? So I didn't vote, since your poll doesn't make any sense for anyone not having been in that kind of situation.

That's why the name of the thread is hypothetical.  I wasn't asking people what they know they would do - I was asking them what they think they would do.  Obviously, it's impossible to know for sure for most all of us.  Unless you've been in the military or had some sort of hostage situation, no one knows for sure.  Everyone here is hypothesizing and qualifying their answer how they see fit.

If you don't wish to hypothesize, that's perfectly acceptable, but try to understand what a hypothetical is before you go on about how something doesn't make sense.
