Two problems with mobile version

I'm on IPad:

1- I get a big box with a question mark in it where I presume the green arrow should be loading, it works at taking to me to the last post but it looks weird

2- I too cannot do kudos, but I think I can create threads

3- I can't rate users

I can get round these problems by using the full version.

Is the iPad default version functionally the same as a phone version? If so, it's weird if you don't get the blue box with a question mark in for point 1.
