Your morals likely follow the morals set by the Bible, so not sure you are exactly correct in calling my faith morally bankrupt unless you want to turn around and call your morality bankrupt as well.
From the story, we learn that a righteous man will save men from gang rape but not his daughters. He will also leave the safety of a city protected by god to hide in caves while he gets drunk.
