The people of Lot? Sodom? Pompeii??

The people of Lot? Sodom? Pompeii??
I decided to post this in the "Religion" section because it concerns Islam and Christianity.
These info are new to me, and totally shocking in an interesting way.

Records of the infamous "Sodom" was mentioned in both the Bible and the Quran, for the town being so engulfed in sexual acts, unlike anywhere in the ancient world.

The town or group of towns, had a prophet send to it called "Lot". The inhabitants of the town disbelieved in his cause; and wanted to have sex with his guests at one point; the guests were angels who were sent down to tell "Lot" and his daughters to flee the town.

The story from the Quran:

Quote:Sura 15, The Quran:
( 58 )   They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals,
( 59 )   Except the family of Lot; indeed, we will save them all
( 60 )   Except his wife." Allah decreed that she is of those who remain behind.
( 61 )   And when the messengers came to the family of Lot,
( 62 )   He said, "Indeed, you are people unknown."
( 63 )   They said, "But we have come to you with that about which they were disputing,
( 64 )   And we have come to you with truth, and indeed, we are truthful.
( 65 )   So set out with your family during a portion of the night and follow behind them and let not anyone among you look back and continue on to where you are commanded."
( 66 )   And We conveyed to him [the decree] of that matter: that those [sinners] would be eliminated by early morning.
( 67 )   And the people of the city came rejoicing.
( 68 )   [Lot] said, "Indeed, these are my guests, so do not shame me.
( 69 )   And fear Allah and do not disgrace me."
( 70 )   They said, "Have we not forbidden you from people?"
( 71 )   [Lot] said, "These are my daughters - if you would be doers ."
( 72 )   By your life, indeed they were, in their intoxication, wandering blindly.
( 73 )   So the shriek seized them at sunrise.
( 74 )   And We made the highest part [of the city] its lowest and rained upon them stones of hard clay.
( 75 )   Indeed in that are signs for those who discern.
( 76 )   And indeed, this city is [situated] on an established road.

The story from the Bible:

An important verse from the story:

Quote:27 Early the next morning Abraham got up and returned to the place where he had stood before the Lord. 28 He looked down toward Sodom and Gomorrah, toward all the land of the plain, and he saw dense smoke rising from the land, like smoke from a furnace.

The Quran stated that a sign remained from the town; and that it is on an established road. I can link many things here: roads remind me of the Roman empire; stones falling from the sky remind me of Volcanic eruptions; highest point of some place turning the lowest remind me of earthquakes, and the fire Abraham saw in the Bible assure to me the volcano theory.

And erotica combined with sexual obsession (the type mentioned about Lot's people) reminds me of the city of Pompeii:

People in this Roman town literally worshiped a penis God:

Sex was even introduced to children. The people of Lot weren't just homosexual; they were also into the opposing gender. Just like the people of Pompeii. Erotica and sex are one thing humans love, but when it becomes the center of life, the people of Lot come into the picture.

Pompeii's destruction remains a sign for later generations, which reminds me a lot with the Quranic and Biblical tale.
I totally believe that the people of Lot were the inhabitants of Pompeii.

I don't know if I should put a warning or not; but these are the archeological findings from the town:

You think that chapter of magic book happens on the west coast of Italy......in 79AD? You think this, because of pornography?

I think introducing gangbangs and goat shagging to children and idolizing male genitalia, is just sick beyond limits, and gives us so many lessons.
I do believe that the Quran and the Bible pointed at Pompeii, but even if we neglected that, the way modern culture is moving towards the same condition of the Town is just staggering.

It rings a bell, and let me think twice about making my life evolving around my penis.

I've always found it incredible that the only "good" man who could be found is one who offers his virgin daughters to a mob to be gang raped...

Oh, and no, there is no connection between biblical stories created a couple of thousands years BCE, and something that happened in 79 CE.

Magic book "points" to the allied cities of the plains, along the river jordan, in southern canaan..........which....for reference, isn't in Italy.

When you think that magic book is saying something off by thousands of years and miles..... that's what rings bells for you?  Just what the world needs, another sexually frustrated islamist taking life lessons from fairy tales about hate-criming djinn.

According to the Bible the reason why Sodom was destroyed had nothing to do with sex. Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed because the townspeople were inhospitable to strangers. Remember, being hospitable is one of the themes in the Bible. The fairy tale also says that Sodom and its environs will be restored to its former glory so buy some lots there before they become too expensive.

According to Wooter it's been found . Though smart people very much doubt it.

And roads. Apparently no other city on Earth had roads.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

So wait... the story of LOT happened after Jesus, but is still in the Old Testament? How the fuck does that work?

Oh right, it fucking doesn't. Get the fuck out of here with your nonsense.
