I watched the below video and I was flabbergasted. I was half-expecting the man to quote Quran 13:13, because I didn't expect anyone to be so stupid, which says:
Nay, thunder repeateth His praises, and so do the angels, with awe: He flingeth the loud-voiced thunder-bolts, and therewith He striketh whomsoever He will.. yet these (are the men) who (dare to) dispute about Allah, with the strength of His power (supreme)!
Being struck by lightning (which I assume is what Allah actually meant - as lightning is the one that does the damage) is highly improbable so I could understand if the man mentioned being struck by lightning and subsequently citing this Quran verse. But no, the convert does not mention Allah flinging loud-voiced thunder-bolts at him. The man literally says "lightning storm therefore god". My head hurts now because I've been banging it too hard against the desk.
