You will discover that, other than eliminating your unsupported god beliefs, you probably haven't changed as a person.I always believed that if you do a good deed for a reward then you haven't done a good deed at all but i am wondering about other stuff like Muslims don't drink alcohol or eat pork etc i wonder if i will change and try those things or will i continue the way i was
If you were a good person as a believer, you will remain a good person as an atheist. If the only reason why you were a good person when you were a believer is because of the fear of a god, or the hope of a reward, you weren't really a good person.
Human morals originate from a combination of our evolutionary past as a social species, natural empathy, rationality, reciprocal altruism. No gods needed.

My best friends and coworkers are all believers in some sort of religion, leaving me as the only atheist in our group. A lot of us also believe that your religion (or lack thereof) should have no bearing with your personal and professional lifestyles.
At the end of the day, you are the same person you were before. So don't worry, be happy.
I live among Muslims and religion means everything to them literary everything, their whole lives are governed by religion and their are blind in their faith and love for Islam and will not hesitate to kill someone for their faith,Maybe i am exaggerating but its too risky to come out, they will never accept my beliefs but instead they will hate me for them
