I agree with your assessment there Demonaura.I am of the opinion that religion,especially fundamentalist religious beliefs lead to all sorts of delusions and as has been proven throughout history can lead men to commit grave atrocities toward one another.In the name of God genocide,massacres,rapes,murders,and executions have been committed for simply not believing or verbally or in written word expressing your unbelief.Also, not to mention believing in another form of religion other than the prominent religion of the region.
There is nothing people will not maintain when they are slaves to superstition
