Pyrrho said, and I quote, "If cops are murderous thugs, you better kill them before they kill you."


If that doesn't constitute an implication that all members of the police department are "bad", then what does?

For goodness sake, he was going through a cop killer's reasoning process. Read through the whole thing again. Pyrrho is not advocating that people start killing cops. He's correctly pointing out that some people will rationalize that they should and he's showing what their reasoning will be.

Nevertheless, this is not the appropriate topic to do so.
Someone has already been offended by his comments, whether or not they were meant to be of a clarifying nature is not the problem at hand.
The problem is bringing a heated debate to a thread that is merely meant to commemorate and honor those who, and again I quote, "have given their lives in the line of duty protecting the communities they serve."
