I saw  Buddy Guy and Susan Tedeschi open for BB in 1999.  Dunno of anyone's aware of this, but King had a tradition at most of his live performances.  He would throw handfuls of guitar picks out into the audience - If I hadn't been hammer drunk, I might have caught one.  He was a phenomenal talent.
