I say fuck it, remove everything. Why should the next gen be exposed to all the movies and tv shows which have subliminal or inadvertent racism, stereotyping and other moments based on racial profiling.

Please, these are two very different examples. Haven't read the article, and nor am I saying I agree with the ban, but I've seen both movies. Gone With the Wind makes it sound like black people were happy servants or something which was not historically the case. That might be part of what the deal here is. Whitewashing, I think they call this.
