And they suffered from the same thing Episode I, and the "special editions" had- those sub-par CGI scenes from the early 00's. That first 100 Smiths fight was cool until the noticeable jump to CG models. And the goofy sound effects!?! I'm all for breaking things up with comedy, but not when you've already set a tone with the first movie. (All this criticism without even touching on the story.)

Wasn't there supposed to be a redeeming "R" rated version with the kiddy gloves taken off?
