Methinks you misunderstand the Republican ideology, or at least confuse it with "The Republican Party" (of America), as they are two different things. The Republican ideology involves the governing of a nation as a republic, where the head of state is chosen by something other than heredity, normally through elections of some kind. Don't confuse it with the Republican Party...it's insulting to republicans like me Tongue

Additionally, I don't see how either republicans / right-wingers have trampled on women's rights. That appeared in the OP as a baseless assertion, and it remains so.
