I'm not complaining, it was an atrocity. War is an atrocity.
The British empire used it as a standard operating procedure, as did the Romans.
The early Americans killed more native Indians than our man Hitler killed Jews.
It is and always will be the law of the jungle, I'm afraid.
It must be because we're made in god's image.

I disagree. Yes, more Native Americans died during the colonisation period and there has always been war and bloodshed, but very rarely on the kind of scale and efficiency employed by the Nazis. Their...feverish obsession with exterminating the 'untermensch' reached levels never witnessed before in history, and hopefully never witnessed in the future.
