As long as you're not a Browns/Bengals fan....
northeast ohio. So yes. Cursed to always be a fan of the browns. The one thing all browns fans have in common is that we hate that we're browns fans...

I only spent one year in a Christian school. One of those biggish Catholic ones (like SVSM, which LeBron went to, IIRC). I actually liked it pretty well, but there was one time when the religion teacher was going to have me confess my sins, just so I'd know what it was like, but it didn't wind up happening due to some time constraint. Scared me.
Honestly, I loved my christian school until about 7th grade.
I asked questions, that were pretty basic, and completely tore down my believe system.
So I'm agnostic, I suppose. I don't hate people who are atheist, and I don't like conflict. So, while I will offer my input if asked, I don't plan on getting into a fight over what they believe in, because in the end, we have 100 years at best, theres not enough time to worry about someone worries of death.

That Christian school you went to apparently was kissed by the Dominionists, those asshats have infected many a church and political arena these days. Be glad that you are out of that environment, be very glad.
If it helps google up any freethought/secular groups in your area. I suggest starting with the Council for Secular Humanism (who are behind the publication of Free Inquiry magazine), they usually have a state-by-state listing of such groups. That is how I found the Atlanta Freethought Society. Meeting and being around people who think similar to you is a great balm for easing any pains inflicted by the religious culture.
Actually, it was the Amish. They threatened the principal every night with their unmatched skill in carpentry and unbeatable prices.

But thanks for the advice! I actually go to Akron university. It's my last semester, but I think I might check out the Atheist confederation of whatever it's called.
