Do you really not see the difference between racism and social stigma attached to homosexuality? Because I'd say they're two pretty different things, you know
I see a small differences that is actually beneficial to gays compared to racial and ethnic minorities.
One can hide the fact they are gay. One can't hide their race. // Advantage gay
Both are born as they are and they can't change that. // tie
Both face violent hate for being what they are. // tie
Did you know there are 7 states that currently ban atheists from holding elected office? Can you imagine if gay people or a certain race wasn't allowed to hold office?
