Sometimes I hate living in Australia for this single reason.
Bands like Saxon, Queensryche and Scorpions have never come here.
Zep came in 72, but I was 10 years old, so did not know of them.
Got my sabbath tickets refunded in 1980 because fucking "Butler" broke his little finger in Sydney and they didn't
come to Melbourne. See everyone else several times.
My highlights were:
1: page/plant
2: deep purple - perfect strangers tour. Talking to John Lord for a good hour, also got Blackmore to sign my "Rainbow" patch on the back of my denim jacket.
3: Black Sabbath (called Heaven and Hell) not too long before Dio passed away.
4: Metallica -all 3 shows
5: all Motorhead ....say no more .walked in sober, walked out stoned!
6: Pink Floyd - technically not metal, but extemely important to me.
7: seen maiden so many times, a but sick of 'em now.
8: judas priest - nostradamus ...the old poof blew everyone away.
9: queen ... Only months before Freddy passed away.
10: other mentions, Ian gillan band, zztop, etc.
