It's that questions against the faith are the path to becoming an enemy. Why don't you want to believe? Don't you want to be like the rest of us? See how happy everyone else is? You must not really want to find god. Pray harder, seek harder. Keep reading the bible. Failure indicates a closed heart. Why are you like that? etc.
It's like I've always said: christian apologetics, where it concerns people, can be boiled down to a single sentence. "If you don't agree with me, there's something wrong with you."
Since when did Christianity own a patent on self centeredness? Religion in all our species history, from volcano gods, to the Greeks and Roman polytheism, did the same thing along with Hebrew and Islam. Our species loves inventing comic book explanations. It is much easier and falsely gives us a comic book sense of immortality.
Apologetics is simply creating comic book excuses for things you don't understand. That applies to ALL religions in our species history.
