RE: What would you consider to be evidence for God?

Evidence for God... hmm... I guess there are a number of inferences that one could make that would be consistent with something like a deity; the question of whether or not such an inference is correct may be unanswerable, but I think it may at least be justified if... we can somehow discover that consciousness or mind is an integral mechanism for a universe to exist --- within very narrow mathematical parameters --- in such a way as it appears to us... and if it is really a vast complex of interwoven structures that unfold from what is an essentially simple, immaterial beginning, due to a set of values that are best explained by ingenious forethought... then I suppose these would be supportive of something that resembles traditional conceptions of the First Cause / Supreme Being.
That still wouldn't cause me to worship it. But it understandably would inspire further wonder and awe over its baffling nature, as the Universe already currently does.
